SHE IS ME WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY MINISTRIES INC. FOUNDER
Meet
Brandi Ware
Brandi Ware is the founder of She Is Me Women's Bible Study Ministries Inc. — a faith-based nonprofit born out of her own journey toward healing, community, and a deeper relationship with God.
A wife of nearly 20 years and a proud mother of three, Brandi spent 14 years building a career in investment banking accounting — a role that sharpened her discipline and deepened her appreciation for the moments that truly matter. But it was in the quiet hours of her personal Bible study that something began to stir.
Committed to reading the Bible in a year, Brandi found herself slowing down over the stories of women in Scripture she had either overlooked or never truly understood. Women with complicated histories. Women who were flawed and faithful all at once. Women who looked, in many ways, a lot like her.
That realization — that other women might be out there feeling the same hunger, the same disconnect, the same longing to go deeper — is what moved her to act. She opened her home, brewed a pot of coffee, and invited a few sisters to sit down and study together.
That first gathering was simple. But it was the beginning of something she couldn't have planned.
HER TESTIMONY
In her own words...
I didn't start this from a place of having it all together.
God has not always been the head of my life. I've always believed in Him — but trusting Him? Having a real relationship with Him? That took some time. And some hard lessons.
I've dealt with domestic violence. Depression. Low self-esteem. Looking for love in all the wrong places. Losing everything in a house fire. The loss of a child. A husband battling cancer. Financial stress. Family drama. Friendship breakups. Alcoholism.
I know — reading that, you might be saying "Sugar. Honey. Ice. Tea." Trust me, I've said it too. Plenty of times.
In most of those seasons, I tried to fix things myself. Find little ways to take the edge off. And I just know God was up there shaking His head like, "My child..." Because that temporary relief never lasted. Those same situations would come right back around like "hey girl hey."
At some point, something clicked. I had to get real with myself: B, you gotta do something different.
That's when I started surrounding myself with women who prayed for me, studied with me, poured wisdom into me, and loved me through my mess. Women God sent specifically for that season. I started seeking Him — not just calling on Him in emergencies — and everything started to shift.
I'm not gonna pretend the old me doesn't pop up every now and then. But I am way more equipped to put her in check.
And the same way those sisters showed up for me — I want to show up for you. That's why She Is Me exists.
"The same way those sisters showed up for me — I want to show up for you."
